Some of our successful migrations:
Citigroup -
longtime customer of ESI; we did a major migration of their check processing
applications, with which they were very pleased – we trumped other vendors by
being on budget and ahead of schedule, even with frequent schedule changes.
See reference letter
AAR Corporation -
headquartered in Wood Dale, IL, this multinational aviation / aerospace company
engaged MSS International to perform a joint migration of their
IMOPS systems in Chicago from a Unisys LINC Environment to a Unix ORACLE Forms,
PL/SQL and C environment. The migration of the Chicago system was a
such a great success that AAR decided to also migrate three
other individual systems in Amsterdam. Oklahoma and New York,
initially targeted for redevelopment.
Scottish Life aka Royal London Insurance -
were looking to migrate from Unisys to a Unix/Oracle platform. This
migration project was accomplished and went live in October 2005, with the
result being a 70% ongoing savings in the costs of their production IT
environment.
See case study.
"The migration has saved 70% of our 5-year IT cost”
says Neil Hughes, IT Director at
Scottish Life.
“We can now move forward
with a much lower cost base and take advantage of the interoperability and
features that Oracle and Unix can offer us.”
American Beverage Distributors / Opici
Import Company has been a customer
for many years, and we performed a migration for them,
from Unisys DMSII to Windows/SQL which completed in 2005.
We are still assisting them on an ongoing support basis.
Express Newspapers, a UK publisher of
such papers as the Daily Star and the Daily Express, were faced with an office
relocation, and their critical Pre-Press Control System, written in
Unisys COBOL74, had to be relocated off of their large
mainframe because of the lack of mainframe facilities in their new
location. MSS migrated them to a Windows/SQL Server system running Micro
Focus, and did so in time for their office move, and with a substantial
resultant savings.

Clal Insurance – located in Tel Aviv,
Israel, Clal chose MSS in partnership with HP to move their more than 1
million lines of Unisys COBOL code to HP UNIX systems running Oracle.
This migration was undertaken under a strict 8-month deadline with dire
financial consequences for the customer if the deadline was not
achieved. The migration completed on time and with flying colors.

letter.
