The Client:               One of the world's largest financial services organizations, Citicorp has been a user of ESI’s software for a number of years.  

The Challenge:       Late in 2001, they came to the decision to migrate their existing check processing systems, all COBOL-based, away from an unsupported mainframe environment.

The Process:           They called upon ESI to help migrate 11 of their major applications to Mpact, and to train their developers in the use of the Mpact toolset.

The Result:              Due in large part to the capability of Mpact to quickly generate data-intensive applications, this portion of their overall migration took place on schedule and under budget.  They remain exceptionally pleased with the capabilities of both ESI and Mpact!
